1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Mon. April 7)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
I have done research on Jane Goodall, a big project board on an actor, whose name i cannot remember, current events, and probably some more.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research means finding, grasping, and learning.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
I think research failed me once in 6th grade on the big billboard project, because i can't remember the actors name that I researched. Other times have been successes.

2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I think the webbing process helped me remember what I have learned all year, and it reminded me which things I enjoyed most.

3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. Topic: The Female Pharoah
2. Why you chose it: I chose this topic because it interests me very much, and I have studied it in Latin and Social Studies, so I know alot already.
3. What you already know about your topic: Hatshepsut was the first female pharoah. She married Tuthmose II, her brother, and was daughter of Tuthmose I. She ordered expeditions to Punt.

4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity - in class (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic.
What time period did she rule in?
What is her family tree? (dad, mom, sis, bro, husband, etc.)
What were some of her accomplishments as ruler?
Was she a good ruler of Egypt?
Where was she buried?
Where is her tomb today?
When was she born?
When did she die?
Where is the temple that she had built?
How did she become queen?
How did she die?
What does her name mean?
What is her full name?
What kingdom did she rule in? (old, middle, new)
How old was she when she became queen?
BIG: what was the life of Hatshepsut like?

5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
I thought it was easy to find a big question, because all of my questions have to do with my BIG question; and also it was easy because Ms. Goodall's presentation helped alot.
